Mark your calendars for the premier training event of the year! The Three Fires Council’s annual University of Scouting is coming up on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Sycamore High School. This event offers supplemental training and leadership development for both youth and adults.
📚 For Adults ($20)
Choose up to 5 classes from a massive catalog covering key topics:
- Mental, Social & Emotional Health: Supporting Scout well-being.
- New Parents in Scouting: Essential info for new families.
- Hands-On Skills: Dutch oven/foil cooking & leatherworking.
- Unit Ops & Admin: Scoutbook Plus, Eagle projects, and recruitment.
⚜️ For Youth (FREE)
Free leadership development for registered Scouts in our council:
- Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) Training
- Den Chief Training
- Order of the Arrow Training
Develop leadership skills, mentor younger Scouts, and connect with peers!
📌 Event Highlights & Perks
- Commemorative Patch: Registrations completed prior to November 8, 2026 include an official 2026 University of Scouting event patch.
- Lunch Option: Pre-order lunch during registration for $12/person (optional for youth and adult attendees).
