Scouting for food

Members of the troop participated in the “Scouting for Food” drive sponsored by the Three Fires Council of Illinois.

Last month several members of Troop 242 participated in the “Scouting for Food” drive in Villa Park. The troop successfully collected a number of bags of groceries and donated them to the York Township food pantry.

The Three Fires Council created the “Scouting for Food” drive during the winter months as a community service program that could be done during the Covid pandemic.
